Recreation & Activities
There is no such thing as an “off-season” at Sugarloaf Mountain. Although most visited for its premiere skiing and snowboarding, the mountain and surrounding area is a hidden gem in the spring, summer and fall months. As the snow melts, the gentle and flat cross-country skiing and snowshoeing trails become home to hikers and mountain bikers, as the more experienced outdoorsmen take to the mighty peaks. Sugarloaf Mountain, itself, becomes an outdoor playground for both kids and adults. Ziplining, scenic chair lifts, and segway tours provide new and fun ways to experience the mountain. There are also several local rivers, ponds, waterfalls and the great Flagstaff Lake nearby to cool off and play in. We invite you up to experience Sugarloaf during every season of the year.
